Areas of Interest:
I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 11 years of experience, and the owner of Conveniently Active and Conveniently Active Kids. I am deeply passionate about using exercise as a tool to improve not only physical fitness and function, but also self-confidence, mental health, and emotional wellbeing.
As one of the paediatric exercise physiologists at Conveniently Active Kids, I provide both individual and group exercise programs for children and teens of all abilities. I love empowering young people across all spectrums of neurodiversity to discover joy in movement and develop a sense of mastery through exercise. My focus includes supporting children who experience sensory sensitivities, coordination challenges, reduced balance, high anxiety, or reluctance towards school sport — tailoring exercise to their needs so that it feels achievable and enjoyable.
I also have a special interest in helping children and teens with connective tissue challenges and hypermobility to improve joint stability, enhance daily function, and confidently engage in sport and play. Having experienced hypermobility and multiple patella dislocations myself since childhood, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to this area.
In addition to paediatrics, I provide women’s health exercise physiology services. My own journey through pregnancy, childbirth, and recovery inspired me to support other women across life stages — from pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation to perimenopause and beyond. I work with women to strengthen their bodies, improve wellbeing, and adapt exercise programs for those with neurodivergence, mental health challenges, or connective tissue conditions.
While my main areas of expertise include paediatrics, women’s health, neurodivergence, mental health, and connective tissue disorders/hypermobility, I also lead a wonderful team of exercise physiologists who specialise across the lifespan — including aged care, neurological rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation, falls prevention, chronic disease management, injury rehab, and more. Together, we are proud to support people aged 3 through to 101!
Outside of work, I enjoy strength training, walking, and spending time with my husband and our two beautiful children.
