This is a gentle exercise class focusing on strength, balance and fitness. This class is great for those wanting to look after their bones, joints, muscles, hearts, lungs and mobility as they get older! As we get older it is important to keep as strong as we can in order to lead healthy and independent lives!
- Rehabilitation Programs:
For those who have seen us for rehabilitation and would like to continue in a group setting, this is the group for you! This could be post-surgery, cardiac rehab, back pain management, osteoarthritis management and more…in this class everyone has been created their own independent program to follow, and will follow the program under the supervision of one of our Exercise Physiologists or Physiotherapists
- Core basics:
A beginner level deep core strengthening class that will also get the whole body moving. It is a Pilates-inspired class focusing on strengthening our foundation muscles. It is perfect for any age or ability. The class focuses largely on technique and learning how to get the right muscles working in the right way. A great class for those managing chronic back or joint pain, or even if you just want to strengthen your core
- Core intermediate:
This is a progression from core basics. We recommend trying core basics before core intermediate.
A fun way to improve your fitness! We will take you through a workout that gets the whole body working! I great way to improve both your cardiovascular fitness and strength
- Circuit class intermediate:
This circuit class consists of a combination of strength, cardio and stretches. It is a progression from the Gentle Exercise and Balance Class. A great way to improve your strength and cardiovascular fitness!
- Balance coordination and stretch:
This class is a lot of fun class to challenge your balance, coordination and flexibility.
- Ready for the weekend class!:
This class is a fun and rewarding way to end the week. We will mix it up each week, but will basically cover a mix between strength, cardio, stretches and relaxation at the end! The perfect way to wind down after a busy week :)
- Zoom Gentle Exercise Group:
This is a class for all those people who cannot make it in to the clinic. You can join our Gentle Exercise Group in the comfort of your own home! The focus is strength, cardio, balance and stretches. Minimal or no equipment required.
