What kinds of Exercise is good for Women's Health?

We help women with various types of exercise programming. In the past, resistance training (weights) was something that a lot of women would steer away from in fear of getting "bulky". However, this is a myth that has been debunked. Strength exercise is incredibly effective for managing conditions such as PCOS, menopause, diabetes, mental health and more. Strength training is also very important during pregnancy and post-partum, so we can keep our bodies strong for postpartum challenges, such as holding babies for long periods of time, and picking up your growing child multiple times per day.

We also help with deep core and pelvic floor muscle activation, which is important for the management of conditions such as incontinence, prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, back pain and more.

We also help with guidance as to how aerobic and stretching routines can help.

A few days before the 29th June 2018, my doctor made an appointment for myself and Kristie and said we 'had to go'.
