What to Expect
Led by our Exercise Physiologist, Peter, these classes are designed to be accessible to any age or ability. The focus is on fitness and fun, not contact. You can choose between pad work, shadow boxing, or punching bag rounds, depending on your comfort level.
You’ll work in pairs with a partner suited to your strength and ability. Each round is timed for 45 seconds, so whether you throw one punch or one hundred, everyone starts and finishes together. No judgement, no waiting—just supportive, light-hearted fitness.
After a few punch rounds, Peter mixes in non-punching exercises like squats (with modifications as needed) to keep things varied. Then it’s time to swap roles, add in some new punch combinations to challenge your body and mind, and keep the energy high.
Gloves are provided (in different sizes and weights), or you can bring your own.
