Initial sessions with Rhiannon were one-on-one to enable Rhiannon to assess my strengths and weaknesses. During our initial consultation I advised Rhiannon that I also attended Pilates sessions twice weekly at Central Coast Physiolates and was consulting with a Dietician from Eatsense Dieticians.
After several Exercise Physiology one-on-one sessions with Rhiannon we agreed that I was ready to start attending group Strength Training sessions. I think of these Group Training sessions as mini boot camps. Rhiannon has tailored the exercises in Strength Training sessions to meet each participant’s needs and limitations.
● After almost six months of attending Strength Training sessions and encouragement from Exercise Physiology I am feeling fantastic.
● I have lost a considerable amount of weight. A change in eating habits inspired by my Dietician and encouragement from Rhiannon have assisted with this.
● Can now walk 5 kilometres a day. Not saying that I do however I have proved to myself on several occasions that I can.
● Have progressed to now being able to exercise with heavier weights.
● Strength Training combined with sensible eating stabilised my blood sugar levels.
● My self-esteem has been boosted immensely.
Participating in Group Strength classes conducted by Exercise Physiologist Rhiannon Walton at Conveniently Active has dramatically turned my life around. I now feel invigorated with regained strength and energy.
I must also mention that the exercising and advice from Rhiannon combined with Pilates, and sound nutritional advice from Eatsense Dieticians has also been beneficial for me mentally, not just physically.
