I first met Rhiannon in June 2020 when I was referred through my general practitioner to help with conditioning and my breathing.
While I am waiting on a lung transplant it is important that I keep active to prepare me for this major surgery so that my recovery is easier.
Rhiannon has since been doing home sessions with me due to my disabilities as I use oxygen 24/7 and a wheelchair when out. She has always catered to my needs each session, whether I needed more attention to certain areas or if I needed to take it easy some days. Rhiannon and her team have always been very understanding of my disabilities.
Rhiannon and her team have helped me gain strength and flexibility, and have also greatly improved my mobility and stamina. They have helped me strengthen my core, back and shoulder muscles to help open my chest area which will be beneficial throughout/post surgery. Aswell as stretching and strengthening my leg and arm muscles to extend my time out of the wheelchair and sitting.
With Rhiannon and her team, exercise physiology assists me in maintaining and managing my physical health despite my disabilities. They have always been amazing to deal with and care for their patients immensely.
